When life isn't fair...

Jacob is a hard worker.  He works from early in the morning until late at night, he's a man of his word, well-liked (likely because of the previous statement).  He's a good person and he'll do for others freely and unselfishly...

His facebook status a few nights ago was, "Why not to answer your phone after 12" and this picture....

That's Jacob changing a tire....a tire of people who called him for help.  Jacob is good like that!  For those who follow my blog, those who know Jacob, you know he loves his vehicles and has always bought his own and been financially responsible for his own.  I appreciate his responisbitliy and example.... All of that makes it hard when life isn't fair!

Jacob bought this truck:

His new work truck, new to him.  He had worked and saved and went to the bank and borrowed the money.  It because immediately obvious that the truck was NOT as "great" as it was sold for.  After a good bit of work (on things that kept messing up) our family mechanic agreed with Jacob....all the sensors had been turned off and it was in trouble.  So Jacob bought an expensive programmer to help figure out what was going on and to monitor the truck....the diagonisis?  It can be fixed....with a new engine!

His current facebook status?  "‎1999 f150 4.6 4x4 77000 miles on it with an edge programmer $6000"

Not funny, but I so feel his frustration!!  I am so very sad for him!  Jacob owes a whole lot  (to him...to me) on the truck that now needs a new motor.  Actually the amount listed in his "sale".

It offends me that my man of his word son was taken by a liar.    When life isn't fair it sure makes me sad!
