This son has totally taken every advantage of his time in the military. He has a blog (listed over there on the side under "Caleb"). He talks(writes) about some of the places he's been and you can see pictures and sometimes even videos. I love that he's traveling and experiencing life in Europe...almost, but not quiet as much as Caleb loves it!!
This weekend? This weekend Caleb and 5 more buddies drove to Belgium and about an hour ago began the Dodentocht .
You can read even more about it here. Since it's NATO sponsored they will get pins/medal/whatever from the Army for completing it, but the walk/hike/run is totally voluntary. Caleb and his buddies have 24 hours to get 100km (that's about 63 miles in miles!). So they began in Belgium today at 9pm and will hopefully complete their race by 9 pm tomorrow night.
Remember my Caleb in your prayers! Pretty neat thing to be part of!
