This post is in honor of my son, my favorite soldier, Caleb Holt Smotherman.
On this day and every day we are blessed to have men and women, our soldiers, serve our country. They rise up on the heels of generations of soldiers who sacrificed for each of us. I am reminded of Dick Cheney's words:
"It is easy to take liberty for granted, when you have never had it taken from you."
We are a BLESSED people! We have men and women have fought every single day for the last 235 years to ensure our liberty!
Thank you Veterans for your unfailing service!
