Two little girls
These sweet girls have joined our crew for a while. While Scott and I agreed to intervene/help/assume custody if needed.....we really did not imagine it happening. DCS called yesterday and voila....they are here. It could not hardly have happened at a busier time, but that seems to always be the case in life. We have (or will be) awarded temporary custody until their grandparents (or grandmother) arrives home from Nigeria. She will have to petition to have custody swapped but she knows just what is needed to do that. So for now, life has slowed down (or sped up....I'm not sure which is more true) as we add in two little girls. Tomorrow we leave for Georgia to see Stuart....we could not be more excited!!! Although we will be going plus two:)

They are adorable. I hope it's a smooth transition and it stays new enough that your crew stay good helpers for the duration.

oh wow. Nothing like surprises! Nothing like adding to the family :-) We're downsizing today by three.
ReplyDeleteLisa the little boy is still in school with Seth. Sadly (or not depending on your outlook) his mom is pretty good about switching around people she leaves him with. So you never know where he really is. He is now on Seth's baseball team too.
